Island Home

This incredible home is located in Florida just North of Fort Lauderdale in a quiet little town by the name of Stuart. This secret gem is along the shores of Hutchinson Island. I had never even heard of Stuart until I was scrolling through Airbnb just days before our trip was scheduled. I had intitially booked another house that ended up having some difficulties with their pool. I don't know about you, but I am not traveling to Florida at the end of June and taking any chances I don't have access to a pool. It all worked out though!

Where to Stay:

Aquarius North is the name of the house I booked on Airbnb. This entire home can sleep up to 14 guests, has 7 bedrooms, 11 beds, and 4.5 baths. There was even a tiny apartment that was attatched to the house with a separate entry. I am not kidding when I say this home comes with absolutely everything. The heated pool was amazing. You could bet we were in the pool from morning to night. My favorite thing every morning was to walk down on the private dock and see what marine life I could spot. The mantatee was a favorite! I even got to paddle board right next to it one afternoon. After a long day of swimming, kayaking, or paddle boarding, hanging out in the spa was a great way to top off the day.

What to Do:

I love making itineraries for my trips, but for this one, I planned nothing. I absolutely did not have to. We never left the house! Publix is 5 minutes down the road. I did a grocery haul on the very first day and never had to leave the house again. One night, we even booked a private chef, and the food was incredible. My mouth is watering just thinking about the gourmet meal that was prepared for us right in the comfort of our home. I highly recommend having a private chef one night during your stay. We booked with Zest Gourmet and had so many options to choose from on his menu. He was AMAZING! Must do if you can.

Some afternoons we played highly competative ping pong games or challenged one another on the putting green. Finley loved having access to our own private beach. She is obsessed with water. I couldn't get her out of it the entire week.

After a full day of fun in the sun we built a bonfire right on the beach and enjoyed one of the best sunsets I have ever seen. I was so excited when I saw there was a bonfire pit. I love a good fire especially when I'm making a s'more!

I will be back to this house! AN ABSOLUTE DREAM!!
